On Monday September 21, 10 p.m. EST, I appear on TV One’s new series “For My Man” as a true crime analyst. I had previously written about the mass effort to stop parole for female perpetrator Vanessa Coleman, one of the individuals responsible for a young Tennessee couple’s unbelievable and senseless deaths in 2007. The television show takes a closer look at women criminals in particular, to examine how they veered off course inside unhealthy and very bad relationships. I am one of few writers who wrote at length about Ms. Coleman’s tragic turn. The world lost two victims’ lives here on Earth, however whatever better life Ms. Coleman would have given the world died, too.
You can learn more about the case on the show and my original essay about ongoing efforts to honor and remember the victims appears on this blog: “On the Channon Christian and Christian Newsom losses of life, and Vanessa Coleman’s impending parole.” Thank you for watching and reading.
And I wish I could watch you but I don’t get that channel

Oh gosh… I remember them. A very, very sad and tragic case. I can’t even imagine what their last moments were like.
